Welcome to the Probus at War website. The site is still very much a work in progress, research is ongoing and the site will naturally evolve and grow over time as more research comes to light. I'm very grateful to those who have contributed to the site already and would love to hear from anyone who can offer information, photographs or other documents that can add to the wartime story of Probus.

The Remembrance pages of the site contain the stories of men from Probus who died whilst serving our country. However, research into one of the men    ( Joseph William Toms) is ongoing. If you are able to offer any information which could help me to tell his story, I would love to hear from you.

There will be a blog which will explore some of the wartime stories in more depth, as well as offering new stories too. This will be updated on a regular basis. I have also set up a Probus at War Facebook page. Following us on Facebook will enable you to keep up to date with the latest blog posts.
